Drives for Non-balanced Doors
![]() |
Non-balanced roller shutters use drives which are capable of lifting the whole weight of the door and incorporate a safety brake to prevent the door falling back if eventually the gearing is worn out or broken. |
|
Two types of Drive are available: - The Safedrive, which is a hollow shaft, direct drive with built in safety brake. The Standard drive which uses a separate safety brake and a chain reduction between the drive and the roller barrel. |
