Security grilles and shutters for windows do not require a counter balance system and use tubular motors built into the roller barrel to minimize space requirements. By their nature they are short term rated for operation a few times per day. |

Tube motors are available with an integral manual override and come in three ranges; Type 5, Type6 and Type8/9, according to door size and weight. Shutters under 3m high / Shutters over 3m high Tubular motors are single phase except for type 9 which requires 3 phase. |
